The goSmithsonian Trek is a mobile game that will take you through some of the top attractions at nine Smithsonian museums on the National Mall. Playable from any iPhone or Android mobile device, it is an interactive game of clues and location-based riddles that need to be solved. What do I need to play this game? The game can be played from any iPhone or Android phone. You can play for free by downloading the "SCVNGR" app from the iPhone App Store or Android Market. You will be able to see images and maps during the course of the game, send pictures and share your adventures of playing the game with your friends.
Is it free to play? The SCVNGR iPhone and Android applications are free. Please check with your mobile carrier if you have any questions. How do I sign up to play? What museums are included in the game? The Smithsonian Castle, the National Museum of the American Indian, the Smithsonian African Art Museum, the National Air and Space Museum, the Freer Gallery, the Sackler Gallery, the National Museum of American History, the National Museum of Natural History, and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
