Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) members receive free parking and discounts at Zoo shops and on stroller rentals.
Free wheelchairs are available at the park's information booths. Zoo visitors can dine at the Mane Restaurant and a number of snack facilities, or enjoy several picnic areas.

The National Zoo store carries a large selection of animals, toys, hats, books and DVD's. The store also carries CDs, tapes, artist-crafted jewelry, design items and toys. We also carry a large selection of Panda and Tiger Cup Trio items.
