Tips

Get the Map
Purchase a souvenir map for $2 at the visitor center and at information kiosks throughout the park.

Dress Comfortably
Wear shoes for the hilly terrain. Free wheelchairs are available at the park's information booths.

Join FONZ
Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) members receive free parking and discounts at Zoo shops and on stroller rentals.

Pack a Picnic
Coolers (but not grills) are permitted in picnic areas.
