We are planning a trip to DC the first week in March and would like to include 1 of the Smithsonian Museums. We will have out grandchildren ages 9,4 and 2. Which of the museums would be best for the children?

Visited this museum on 9/14. While it was an enjoyable experience for me, I was with a visually impaired friend. He, however, could not believe the lack of attention given to exhibits with information for him.

Would think an institute as large as this would be more sensitive to needs of the visually impaired. Placards were minimal at least.

I just wanted to THANK YOU so much for honoring our National History Day kids last Wednesday night! We are very proud of our kids!!! :) We had the BEST time at the museum!

Question: Why do you have pictures of women relatives in the presidential wives inagural gowns section? It is written on the pictures "First Lady". I thought the First Ladies had to be the wives of the Presidents. Please answer.

I don't suppose there are any books like the pop-up art books for sale?????
