Save time in line at the Lockheed Martin IMAX® Theater and Albert Einstein Planetarium by buying tickets in advance at www.si.edu/imax or by calling 202-633-4629.

Take a tour. Meet at the welcome center at 10:30 or 1:00 for a 90-minute highlights tour with a knowledgeable guide.

Hungry?

The museum offers a food court (first floor, east wing) with fare from McDonald's, Donato’s Pizza and Boston Market. For lighter appetites, visit the McCafé or enjoy a cool dessert from the McTreat station.

Getting Around

Escalators are located on both sides of "Milestones of Flight." Three elevators, in the store and in Galleries 209 and 207, are also available.

East or West? Which is Best?

To see rockets and space flight exhibits, visit the galleries in the east side of the building. Airplanes and aviation are on the west side.
